These quick-knit mittens in the Norwegian Selbu tradition produce a cozy mitten filled with symbolism for things the world could use a little more of right now: Hope, love, kindness, and courage. Includes heart-shaped cinnamon roll recipe.

Christiandatter Mittens are a traditional Norwegian pattern knit in the round with super-soft Blue Faced Leicester with a braid at the cuff and the year the mitten knit along the bottom (the year can be changed to celebrate a birth year, anniversary or any other special occasion). The thumb is constructed with a gusset and the tassel is optional.

2 skeins of Farm Girl Products BFL (220 yards each) will make 2 pairs of mittens.

Tvinnarand SOS
