Christmas candles formed by front post dcs and popcorn stitches decorate this fun hat!

The top part is worked sidways so there are no decreases and you can turn this hat into a slouchy hat easily!

My hat used about 100g (3.5 oz) in DK weight yarn. Depending on your yarn, you might need more. If you want a slouchy hat make sure you have enough yarn!

Basic stitches/techniques needed:

chain, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr, fpdc,work in front loop, work in back loop, work in lower back loop, both back loops hdc (explained in pattern), Linked frontpost double crochet (explained in pattern)
