This is a pattern for a little drawstring pouch. I designed it after searching for something to put chocolate coins in for Christmas gifts, it could also be used for other gifts and with the addition of a little chain hanger could be a tree decoration.

I have used DK acrylic and a 5mm Hook to achieve a 4 inch tall bag with a 3 inch circumference. It uses only a small amount of yarn and you can play around with colour combinations for fun or to match your colour scheme.

The addition of buttons or beads for the ends of the strings is optional but I think it adds to the charm of the pouch and the possibilities are endless!!
