This pattern contains English description of crocheting cute X-mas tree elf.
These gnomes are the nice Christmas tree decoration or a great Christmas present.

Toy on a wire frame. The cap is removable, i.e., you can crochet just an elf or together with a Christmas tree - see short video.
The toy stands on its own.

Elf height - 18 cm / 7”.
The height of the toy in the cap is 30-35 cm / 12-13.5”.

You need for work:

1. Yarn Sport weight/4 ply yarn Yarnart Jeans (50g/160m, cotton 55%, acrylic 45%): 1) 90 red (clothes - 10-15 g); 2) 53 black or 28 dark grey (clothes, “cable” - 10-15 g); 3) 07 beige (head, ears, arms - 20-25 g); 4) 52 green (cap - 35-40 g) 5) 35 yellow (star, led lights - 5-10 g); 6) 2 any colors for led lights (I have 33 turquoise and 50 purple - a little).
2. Hook I use hook size 1.6 mm.
3. Any toy stuffing material
4. Eyes 2 black half-beads size 11-12 mm. White felt under eyes.
5. Wire frame Wire with a diameter of 1-2 mm (should keep its shape). For the legs - 2 pcs of 25 cm, for the arms - 2 pcs of 11 cm. Adhesive plaster or insulating tape for wrapping.
