This sweet little Christmas Fairy will look lovely tucked in among your festive decorations or hanging from your Christmas tree.
This decorative doll is an easy knitting projects, suitable for confident beginners.
The lace skirt and wings are an ideal first lace project, using only yarn over stitches and an easy 4 row repeat.
This fairy is knitted flat using basic stitches. Colour photos guide you through making up and finishing your doll. I also include alternative detailed instructions for embroidered eyes.
(To make a smaller version use 4ply yarn and 2.00mm (UK 14 /US 0) needles).
Fairy size 14.5cm/6” tall
Needle size 2.75mm (UK 12 /US 2)
Tension - 26sts x 32 rows = 10cm (4”) st.st. Square

If you are using an alternate yarn, check the recommended needle size for your yarn and use a needle 2 sizes smaller. This will give a close textured stocking stitch which will hold its shape well when stuffed
