Knitting pattern for a very cute little Christmas fairy mouse with wings and wand……11cms high.

Main body of mouse and wings are knitted, with a net skirt and hand made wand. It’s very easy to put together and you will have great fun making these little animals to hang on your tree or for friends and family. This pattern is also suitable for a charity knit and can be achieved in one day. Basic knitting only required. It’s not as hard as it looks!

The skirt can be made out of netting or wide ribbon, or anything you have in your craft box. The wings can be knitted from any silver or gold yarn.

Materials:

3.25mm (UK) needles (wings can be knitted on 3.75mm for more gossamer effect)

Sirdar chenille wool 15g in white, grey or beige for main body (shown knitted in grey in photos)

Sirdar chenille wool 15g in pink for nose (nose can be embroidered on if preferred)

1/2 metre piece of netting

Pink pipe cleaner or pink cord for tail

Silver or gold Ricorumi 10g yarn for wings (I have used a very fine silver yarn with sequins on as well)

Silver pipe cleaner or wire for wand plus any star shape material you have to hand

Wool needle to sew up seam

Invisible thread for whiskers (optional - white thread can be used)

Toy Stuffing for body ( any cotton wool you have can also be used to keep costs down)

Please note that this is my own design and pattern, which I have worked hard to create so please respect that all patterns are copy-right under UK law.
