Requires 2 colors of yarn, A and B, regardless of yarn choice. It works especially well if one of the yarns is multi-colored, variegated, or hand-painted. This cowl can, and has been knit in worsted, dk, sport, and fingering. In each project there was ample yarn remaining to knit another cowl when knitting the smaller size.
