This pattern will show you how to make a modular Christmas garland you can use to decorate your tree, your bannisters, or wherever you’d like! (You can never have too much garland, right?)

I made mine using Lion Brand Pound of Love in White, but you can use whatever yarn you have on hand. I used a size J (6.0 mm) crochet hook. Gauge isn’t crucial; you can experiment with it to get the look you want. As written, the pattern will create 6 foot long segments, which can then be attached together (the sections easily and almost invisibly connect and come apart for easy storage and to avoid tangling). I tend to crochet tightly, so if you’d like to make yours exactly the same, I recommend sizing down a hook. But you can adjust the number of pattern repeats to make it as long or as short as you’d like and you can make as many or as few sections as you need.

You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page. You may not copy this pattern, repost it anywhere (either altered or in its original form), or claim it as your own. You may not use any photos on this site for your own use.
