This 15-page pattern creates a crisply textured Christmas stocking with an I-cord border and hanging loop, a garland band at the top and a cabled pattern on the leg and foot. The pattern contains both written instructions and charts, along with illustrated tutorials for three techniques used in the stocking. Instructions are also given for grafting the ends of the I-cord together to form the hanging loop.

Size: Stocking measures 18 inches long by 5 ¾ inches wide at top of stocking

Materials: Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted, 2 balls in desired color
Size 8 needles: 12-inch circular (if desired), 4 or 5 double points
2 safety-pin type stitch markers
