This Crochet Christmas Gift Card Holder is the ultimate quick gift for anyone in your life. Add a touch of homemade festivity and “made with love” thoughtfulness to your gift card with this practical and adorable Christmas pattern.

ABOUT THIS PATTERN

  • It’s a great easy Christmas crochet project as the pattern only uses simple stitches…if you know how to single crochet, chain and slip stitch you can make this Christmas Crochet Gift Card Holder!
  • It works up quickly (you can make a couple before the end of your favorite Christmas movie!) and uses only a small amount of yarn, perfect for stash busting!
  • It’s designed to hold a standard gift card (the same size as a credit card).
  • There’s a lip at the top that gets tucked into the body of the gift card holder to prevent the card from falling out.
  • This Christmas gift card holder makes a wonderful stocking stuffer. Or, put it on the Christmas tree for a surprise on Christmas morning.

ABOUT THE PDF

  • The PDF of this pattern is a 4 page, print-ready digital download that you can save, print (in color or in black and white), make notes on and keep forever.
  • It is laid out into easy to follow sections and includes step by step instructions and pictures.
  • The pattern is also available on my website. The PDF includes everything from the website but in an easy to read, follow and print document.

Size: The pattern creates a gift card holder that is approx. 4” wide and 3” high (not including the lip).

Yarn: Any size 4 (medium) yarn for the body and size 5 (bulky) yarn for the top. For the body I used Impeccable by Loops & Threads. This yarn is size 4 (medium) weight and 100% acrylic. I used approx. 15 yds of “Cherry” (red), 5 yds of “Sunny Day” (gold/yellow) and 10 yds of “Black.” For the top, I used approx. 5 yds of Bernat Pipsqueak in “Whitey White.” This yarn is size 5 (bulky) weight. A skein is 101 yds / 92 m and 3.50 oz. / 100 g.
