Christmas is really approaching by storm, many may already have started decorating their homes and preparing with Advent candles, christmas lights and decorations. We have a tradition here at home that we produce Christmas decorations and Christmas lights so everything is on the first Advent, which is actually already on Sunday.

The whole year has been fast but just November has gone incredibly fast, it feels like we just entered November. Probably December will go even faster, as there is always so much to do in December and the Christmas month.

A couple of months ago I started crocheting a bit with a mint green yarn, it was lying in my hides for a while until I saw it again a few weeks ago, got the urge to start crocheting it again but now wanted some Christmas colors instead. I decided on the classic Christmas colors red, green and white.

I have used Falkgarn’s Emma 8/4 and crochet hook 2.5 mm. The colors I have used have color numbers: 664 (green, this is unfortunately an outgoing color for the yarn Emma), 858 (red) and 851 (white). I myself bought my yarns from Falkgarn’s own website, as I unfortunately have no direct yarn shop in my vicinity.

The doily is in medium difficulty and there are a lot of stitches to keep track of, there is variation in all rounds.
