About the Knitting Pattern
The Christmas Penguins Cardigans are festive knits available in both V neck and Round Neck styles. Designed to fit children from 6 months to 7 years, each cardigan features two delightful penguins wearing Santa hats. The pattern is written in English and supplied as a digital download PDF.

Design Details
The front, back and sleeves are knitted separately and then sewn together. Ribbed button bands are picked up and knitted; for the V neck version, you may prefer using a 3.25 mm circular needle to make picking up stitches easier. A chart is provided for the penguin motif.

Sizes
Instructions include five sizes:
• 6–12 months
• 1–2 years
• 2–3 years
• 4–5 years
• 6–7 years

Skills Level
Intermediate. The pattern includes written instructions, but you will need experience working from a chart for the motif.

Yarn
Knitted using double knitting (DK) wool. Overseas equivalents: USA Light Worsted or Australian 8 ply.
Cardigans shown use:
• Sirdar Snuggly DK — Pastel Blue (0321), White (0251), Black (0312), Red Flamenco (0242)
• Olympus DK — Yellow (853)

Needles
• 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm straight needles (USA sizes 3 and 6)
• (Optional) Small crochet hook for to help

Other Requirements
• Buttons for Round Neck: 6 (6, 6, 6, 7)
• Buttons for V Neck: 3 (3, 4, 5, 5)
• Stitch markers
