Sizing

There are 5 children’s sizes to make. Sizes vary from 0 months to Adult Small or from 36cm - 54cm/14 1/8 - 21 2/8inch head circumference.

Skill level

Easy. This pattern consists of basic crochet stitches. US stitches = magic loop, ss, chain, sc, hd & dc. UK stitches = magic loop, ss, chain, dc, htr & tr. There is some crochet in ‘front loop only’ (FLO) and ’back loop only (BLO). Some basic sewing is required using a tapestry/darning needle.

Tools and Materials

None of the following is included:

• 8mm or L/11 crochet hook
• 6mm or J/10 crochet hook
• Scissors
• Darning Needle/Tapestry Needle
• Stitch markers
• Super Chunky/Bulky yarn recommended for an 8mm or L/11 crochet hook in white, brown, green and red. Overall amounts vary between 107 - 120 meters or 117 -131 yards depending on the size of the hat. Further information in the pattern.
