Looking for a Christmas Santa Jumpers knitting pattern for mini doll? This Grinch or polar bear knit mini sweater perfectly suits to Blythe, Holala, Barbie, Pullip, Obitsu22, Licca, Momoko, Azone, Monster high and other similar dolls as well as mini teddy bear, Waldorf or textille dolls. Knit amazing plush sweater for your bestie by Christmas!

Blythe knit sweater pattern includes 9 pages, 20 photoes and 9 video supports. Using this Christmas knitting pattern you can knit the fluffy sweater with round yoke without any seams for your toy.

The pattern is written in detail but you must be familiar with basic knit stitches and techniques such as:

  • cast on/cast off;
  • how to make knit and purl stitches;
  • know the method magic loop / in the round (but has the video supports so you will learn this technique!)
  • worked ‘back and forth’ on 2 knitting needles

Materials and Tools:

  • fluffy yarn (DK, 8 ply): Alize Softy (115 m / 50 g) or Himalaya Toffe Baby (136 m /50 g)
  • circular knitting needles 2 mm with 60 cm (or longer) flexible cable length
  • red yarn (Fingering, 3 ply, 500 m / 100 g) for Santa hat
  • crochet hook 2 mm for auxiliary function and crocheting the Santa hat
  • small button for fastener
  • beads for eyes
  • thread to embroider the muzzle
  • tiny pompon for Santa hat

Video support has:

  • how to form the sleeve and hide the gap under armpit;
  • how to embroider the bear and Grinch noses (two different ways);
  • how to embroider the Grinch smile in very easy way!;
  • tutorial How to crochet the Santa hat;
  • tutorial How to make a loop for a button.

NOTE! As this fluffy yarn has a «hairy» structure and the knitted fabric looks even running and the loops are unobservable, I show the process of knitting the sweater on two kinds of yarn in this tutorial: regular socks yarn (400 m / 100 g) and fluffy yarn.

The pattern is supplied as an instantly downloadable digital PDF file, so you will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Reader to open, print and save the file.
