CHRISTMAS SOCKS 2025
The socks folded cuff has a contrasting color on the inside. It can be knitted down or sewn down. The leg is worked in stockinette stitch with slipped stitches.
The heel has a heel flap and a small charted motif, which can also be embroidered afterwards using duplicate stitch. The toe is worked in stripes. The sock is worked from the top down and the pattern is written for DPNs.

Size: EU women sizes: 35–36 (37–38) 39–40
US Women sizes: 5–6 (6.5–7.5) 8–9

Needles: Double pointed needles 2.5 mm (US 1.5)

Gauge: 30 sts × 44 rnds = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4 inches
in stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles

Measurements: Measurements taken on a blocked sock:
Leg length: 13 (13) 13 cm / 5.1” (5.1”) 5.1”
(or desired length)
Foot circumference: approx. 20 (21) 22 cm / 7.9” (8.3”) 8.7”
Foot length: approx. 23 (24) 26 cm / 9.1” (9.4”) 10.2”
(adjustable)

Materials: Sandnes Sisu
(80% wool, 20% nylon, 50 g = approx. 175 m / 191 yds)

MC: 2650 light beige,100 g
CC1: 4228 red,50 g
CC2: 8063 green,50 g (or leftovers)
