MATERIALS:

• short circular needles 40 cm 4 mm (16 in US 6);
• circular needles 80-100 cm 4 mm (32 in - 40 in US 6) or double pointed needles 4 mm (US 6) - the cable needle for knitting the Cable Stitch;
• markers;
• tape measure;
• wool needle;
• device for making pompon.

GAUGE:
18-20 stitches х 26-28 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4”) in stockinette stitch on 4 mm (US 6) needles after blocking.

YARN:
when knitting with one thread:
80-90 m (90-100 yds) in 50 g (1.75 oz)
when knitting with two threads:
160-180 m (175-200 yds) in 50 g (1.75 oz)
Yarn composition: I recommend using yarn with added wool.

YARN CONSUMPTION:
~100 g (3.5 oz) of yarn of the main color;
~20-30 g (0.7-1 oz) of yarn for decoration (letter, pompons).
