Christmas Stocking
This cosy crochet Christmas stocking is worked in simple granny stitch that lets the long colour changes of Patons Sierra 8 ply do all the work. Just one ball makes a stocking, so you can crochet one for everyone in the family.
The Crochet Stocking is worked in the round from the toe up, starting with a treble crochet toe before moving into an all over granny stitch pattern for the foot. The heel is worked back and forth in rows of trebles, then the leg is picked up around the heel edge and continued in rounds to a treble crochet cuff. Finished with a foundation half treble hanging loop. Australian/UK crochet terminology used throughout. Rated Easy, making this a great project for confident beginners.
