Nothing says Christmas like a row of stockings strung across a fireplace, just waiting for treats on Christmas Eve.

This pattern contains the instructions to knit 3 different types of stockings; the basic stocking, striped stocking and Fair Isle stocking. Each stocking is knit in the round from the top down with a short row heel and a grafted toe. They measure 42cm (16.5”) from cuff to toe and 16cm (6.25”) across the leg.

There are written instructions for the basic and striped stockings and a chart for the Fair Isle stocking.

Each stocking has used one ball each of shades 50 - Cornish, 58 - Elm and 59 - Hawthorn in Hayfield Super Chunky with Wool.
