These little Christmas Stockings are designed for beginner knitters, so you do not need any sock making experience to knit these decorations. You can knit the bottom of the stocking in stripes or one block colour, and the top can be knitted in a rib pattern or seed stitch (British moss stitch).

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the stockings are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Stylecraft Special Double Knit; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each shade.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming, and a crochet hook to crochet a single chain to make the hanging loop.

SIZES
One size only - 8cm tall (without the loop).
