Description
This placemat and its snowflake coaster companion are a quick and easy project, perfect for a lasthour gift or for a evening of stitching.
The pattern uses basic stitches:
- chain
- single crochet
- double crochet
- treble crochet
- surface slip stitch to embellish
The surface slip stitch is made with mouliné (3 strands) and 1 metallic thread DMC Diamant. Red mouliné with gold Diamant, white mouliné with silver Diamant.
The placemat is worked in two stages: first we’ll work the triangle in dc. Then we’ll attach the contrast color at the base of triangle and we’ll work the parallelogram section.
