This is a set of 6 patterns for making Christmas Tinies.

They were all made with leftover fingering wt yarns. You know, those precious bits that are just too precious to toss. The needles will be whatever you typically use with that yarn and that give the fabric you like best. You are not looking for drape, per se, but not stand up by themselves dense either. You want them to be soft to the touch but hold their shape… just like socks.

One of the 2 socks features a Fleegle Heel, the other a short row heel. Both are quick to work up and require nothing more than some yarn and the needles.

The hat is quick to work up and features a folded lower edge. You can secure the fold or not, and making the pompom is the only extra step.

The mitten is worked from the hand section back to the cuff. The tiny thumb is a little awkward but totally workable. It’s quite an easy little pattern.

The Raglan Pull over is worked top down. The yoke features tiny cables at the raglan increases and can be a tiny bit fiddly, but is still not hard to work up. The rest of the pullover is just a straight forward knit in the round to the lower ribbed edge. Sleeves are then also worked in the round.

The Grandpa Shawl Collar Raglan Cardigan is worked flat for the yoke, body and collar. The sleeves are worked in the round. Short rows give the collar the shaping. The ‘buttons’ I used are tiny paper brads with butterfly arms. My sweater is buttoned closed, but if you use real buttons or beads, you can opt to leave your sweater opened.

Extras you may need:
Tiny hangers like are used for fashion dolls.
Doll sized buttons, 6E beads, 4mm swarovski crystals… anything about the right size for making buttons on the cardigan.
