This pattern is worked using the intarsia knitting technique. To prevent curling, the edges are knitted in garter stitch, while the rest of the pattern is done in stockinette stitch.

My finished square measures approximately 9.5x9.5 cm, with 44 rows (including the cast-on and bind-off) and 29 stitches per row.
