This is a knitted Christmas decoration, which is knitted in the flat. It has an easy fair isle pattern . It is knitted on 2mm/US 0 needles, using King Cole Glitz (317 yards 100g ball) and Anchor metallic Thread.( 25g = 100m 2,00). Once knitted it measures 4 inches/10cm.
Ideal size for hanging on your Christmas tree. 11sts to 12 rows = 1 inch.
Materials required the above wool in Christmas Green and Gold metallic thread. A selection of needles, tapestry, beading and sewing needles. Seed beads in red and gold and the same colour sewing thread. (Optional). Gold ribbon or cord as a hanging loop. Plus a sparkle star button. Soft filling .
Requires a small amount of yarn for this project, and is quick to knit.
You could even make this from any left over double knit wool you have.
