This simple to knit washcloth (or dishcloth) is made using just knits and purls to create 4 rows of 4 Christmas trees, all neatly lined up and surrounded by a seed stitch border.
You could argue of course that they are not Christmas trees, since they’re not decorated, and I would support that argument, so perhaps it should be called “Can’t see the forest for the trees” (or fir the trees?!?!). Or along the lines of some of my other washcloth patterns perhaps it should have been Mini Trees Washcloth.

Whether you need a festive washcloth or are a big fan of evergreen trees and forests, this washcloth is a very simple and fun pattern with an easy to see pattern repeat!

A printable PDF is also available on my website for $2.

Yarn used: Knit Picks Dishie
Other options would include Bernat Handicrafter Cotton or Lion Brand Re-Up, Estelle Sudz and other kitchen-type worsted weight cottons.
