This is a simple hand warmer festooned with Christmas cheer. The trees are make from separate parts sewn together to give some shape to the tree, which is decorated with a knitted star and small buttons (about 9mm/ 1/2 inch).

The pattern includes sizes from 6 to 9 inches (to include men!) measured around the knuckles.

The DK yarns you need are:
Main yarn (cream or your choice): 20g (120m/133 yds)
Red yarn: couple of yds/m
Green yarn: 4g (12m/13 yds)
Yellow yarn: couple of yds/m DK

A tapestry needle is needed for sewing this up with a finer needle and thread (I used a gold/yellow cotton) for the buttons.
