A bright, cheerful, rainbow inspired Christmas stocking pattern using the tree lines pattern. This mini stocking is the perfect eye catching decoration for your Christmas tree. So perfect for Christmas, made with love and the perfect place to pop treats or that very special gift.

Suitable for all knitters. This easy to knit pattern uses 8 ply, with one main colour plus the seven colours of the rainbow. Large A4 colour charts for both sides of the stocking are provided, using a simple 6 row pattern in two colours. Being a stocking, it features an edging of white fluffy yarn worked in garter stitch. The loop used to hang the stocking is also worked in garter stitch. There are a few rows with simple decreases at either the beginning or end of the row, plus the seams to sew together. A great way to practice some basic knitting stitches, learning to follow a simple colour graph and sewing.

1 x 50g Main colour 8 ply
7 x 25g Contrast colour 8 ply
1 x 25g Fluffy yarn approx. 8 ply
4 mm needles
Wool needle for sewing
Scissors

Top of stocking width- approximately 9 cm or 3 1/2 inches
