The Chrysanthemum Cowl is a quick little confection that’s as nice to knit as it is to wear. Its wide ribs flare out into a delicate ruffle reminiscent of fall’s favorite blossoms. It’s feminine but not over the top frilly. I like it worn long, but its generous length allows you can also double it around your neck when the weather calls for something cozier. Rowan Trio has great yardage, so it only takes one skein to knit it. Give yourself a skein of Trio and a few great films (or foot-ball games) and you’ll have a lovely little accessory or a terrific gift.
