Inspired by the gorgeous Art Deco designs found at the top of the Chrysler building in NYC, this adorable light-weight cowl is great for the warmer weather of summer or to layer with a sweater for chilly temps! The duo of coordinating colors adds depth and a touch of whimsy to any outfit. With repeating rows, this arched pattern is a fantastic weekend project for intermediate/advanced level crocheters and up… but a beginner could easily give this one a go too!

Materials needed:
I used Southern Skeins sock yarn - but any sock weight will do.
1 skein sock-weight yarn -
1 mini skein (sock or fingering weight)

Size G hook (4.25mm)

Stitches used
Ch - chain
Slst - slip stitch
Foundation sc (FSC)
Sc - single crochet
Dc - double crochet
Dtr- double treble crochet - yarn over 4 times, slip hook into indicated space, yarn over and pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two, repeat until single loop remains.
Fpdtr: same as the dtr, only working the stitch around the front post of the indicated stitch of the previous row.

Notes:
Color changes - do whatever color change method you prefer. I use the invisible join in my work for a clean color change.

This pattern is worked in the round.
