Inspired by the Art Deco style of New York City’s Chrysler building, this rectangular stole features a beaded sunburst pattern at both ends, and winged textured-stitch motifs on the body of the stole.

The stole is knit by working the first beaded sunburst section. The body section is then cast on and worked through the entire stole and then the second beaded sunburst section is worked. The two pieces are then grafted together seamlessly upon completion. Note that the motifs are all presented in chart form ONLY.

You will need approximately 800 yards of a fingering-weight yarn to complete this project as written. If you choose to substitute yarn, select a fingering weight yarn with a nice drape and minimal halo. You will need 720 size 6 seed beads to complete the pattern as written. (Note: When purchasing beads, plan for 10-15% extra, just in case.)
