CHRYSTAL got its name because of the elegant geometrical pattern on the colorwork yoke reminding me of the sparkling minerals. It is a seamless top-down sweater with ¾ sleeves for which I used a very calm and neutral main color with the matching wild variegated contrast color and I just like the effect this combination produced.

The range of ease across all the sizes is 2.5 – 4.5 cm/1 – 1.75”. The picture shows size 4 with 4 cm/1.5” of positive ease.

PATTERN NOTES:
• I recommend swatching for the colorwork and if you notice that it is tighter than the stockinette stitch done in one color, please use larger needles for working the colorwork section of your sweater.
• The sweater is worked in one piece top down. You start with the neck band, then work neck shaping with short rows and then continue working in the round. After the round yoke and additional shaping with short rows, you separate the sleeves and the body and continue working them separately.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• basics (cast on/bind off, knit/purl, increase/decrease)
• short rows
• working in the round
• working from a chart
