This knitting toy pattern includes instructions for making a chubby kitten approximately 13–14 cm / 5.5 inches long (excluding the tail).

The kitten is knitted in one piece, with the legs and tail knitted in as you work. The ears are knitted separately and sewn on.

• Soft, fluffy yarn recommended
• Sample yarn: Gazzal Alpaca Air (150 m / 50 g)
• For paw pads embroidery: Alize Angora Gold (550 m / 100 g), shade #271

You may substitute with any yarn of similar weight; adjust needle size according to your yarn and knitting tension.

Needles:
• Double-pointed needles 2.5 mm

Hook:
• 1.5-2 mm crochet hook for picking up stitches along edges

Additional materials:
• Stitch marker (to mark beginning of rounds)
• 5 stitch holders (to separate stitches for legs and tail)
• Safety eyes or sew-on eyes, 10-12 mm
• Strong thread for attaching eyes and light needle sculpting
• Embroidery floss in light pink (nose) and a darker shade for detailing
