CHUCKLES THE CLOWN

Materials:
4.5mm hook
Worsted weight yarn
For Chuckles the Clown -
The color choices are up to you. The basic yarn suggestions are as follows:
1.) a lighter color for the head
2.) colors of choice for the body, arms and legs. These can be all the same color, or a different color for each. The color scheme is your choice.
3.) a darker color for the feet. I like to use two different darker colors.
4.) another contrasting (or matching) color for the ruffles.
5.) a bright color for the hair.
6.) orange or red for the nose
7.) black embroidery floss, crochet thread or yarn for stitching mouth line & optional eyebrows.
Plus you will want:
a pair of safety eyes
5 pompoms (or you can crochet them, I will include at the bottom)
fabric paint, oil pastels (oil crayons), or markers to create the face paint, I used blue for eye make-up & red for mouth make-up.
scissors, stitch markers, & a needle for sewing together & weaving in ends.
Chuckles is worked in the round, with the exception of the neck ruffle which is worked in rows.
Chains at beginning of ruffles do not count as first stitch.
