The pattern combines double moss stitch, rib and garter stitch and is suitable for a beginner who has mastered the basics of knit, purl and who has been taught to use a circular (shawl) needle.

The small size will either be perfect for an older child (age 8 - 12yrs) or is a small snug cowl for an adult. The large size is a generous long style cowl for an adult.

You need 2 x 50g balls of Libby Summers Fine Aran for the small size and 4 x 50g balls of Libby Summers Fine Aran for the large size.

This is still my most worn snood, over one year on from making it.
