This is a crochet pattern for an Amigurumi Chummy Doll from the Call the Midwife TV show. I’ve received permission from Neal Street producers to post the Chummy pattern for free. It’s written using US crochet terms, made with worsted weight yarn and a 3.75 mm crochet hook, with a finished size of around 10.5 inches tall when using the recommended yarn weight. Chummy is wearing her blue uniform, a cardigan made out of felt, and the signature midwife hat to top it off!

You should be familiar with basic crochet stitches to follow this pattern, but it’s beginner friendly thanks to the included 20-page instruction booklet on how to crochet. The pattern comes with photos and clear instructions so you can follow along with confidence.

Once you make your purchase, you’ll receive 2 PDF files: the pattern itself, and the how-to-crochet booklet. If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to email me: amysgurumis@gmail.com - I’m quick to respond and happy to help.

Please do not copy or resell this pattern in any format. You’re welcome to sell finished items made from this pattern. If you do, please credit @amysgurumis.

If you’re making this for a child under 3, do not use safety eyes. They can pose a serious choking hazard, so embroider the eyes instead.
