I came up with this afghan as a farewell gift for a friend. I combined and tested ideas from different patterns to get the final result.

I worked with 6 strands of a bulky yarn, but you can use any yarn you want, depending on whether you want a chunky afghan or not. This might require you to also change the number of stitches per row and the number of row to get a square.

You can increase the size of the afghan by increasing the number of squares.
