This pattern refers to knitting a beanie with a circular technique using thick artisan yarn. You will need basic notions of knitting: garter and purl stitch. Este patrón se refiere al tejido de un gorro con técnica circular utilizando hilado grueso. Necesitarás nociones básicas de tejido a dos agujas: punto derecho y punto revés. Ha sido tejido utilizando una fibra de una sola hebra gruesa, hilada y teñida de modo artesanal en Cusco - Perú. El hilado elegido es oveja merino ya que es una fibra cálida para resguardarse del frío de invierno en todas las regiones de nuestro bello Perú. El hilado artesanal de Alpaqaytu es elaborado en Sicuani, Cusco utilizando técnicas textiles milenarias como es el hilado utilizando pushka, respetando el pago justo hacia la hilandera que lo realiza y cuyo nombre encontrarás en la etiqueta de la madeja. Además, el teñido de la fibra elegida se realiza de modo artesanal siendo racionales con el uso del agua y evitando el uso de químicos tóxicos que contaminen el agua o afecten la salud del responsable del teñido. Si es la primera vez que tejerás de modo circular hacerlo con fibra gruesa te ayudará a avanzar con mayor velocidad y entrenar la coordinación de manos y ojos para evitar costuras, con ello, el tejido te quedará prolijo. El calce es ceñido a la cabeza y cubre la mitad de las orejas. Si realizas cambios al hilado te sugiero hacer una muestra de tensión para que llegues a utilizar el grosor de agujas sugerido.
