The Chunky Cabled Hood is a moderate skill pattern knitted with super chunky yarn. I use a 100% Acrylic brand for this particular pattern. I have also used a 70% wool 30% Acrylic blend and it produces a heavier, larger and denser hood.

MATERIALS:
Size 17’s circular needles
Cable needle
3 skeins Lions Brand Hometown USA or any size 6 ultra bulky yarn
Extra needle for 3-needle Bind Off

Should possess a knowledge of simple cables and 3 needle Bind Off I do supply a simple photo tutorial for the Bind Off portion of the pattern.

The pattern is a one size fits most adult women. I plan to make a child size pattern soon.
