This chunky, color block scarf works up really, really quickly. And it uses only one stitch (extended single crochet) so it is an absolutely perfect crochet pattern for beginners.

Finished Measurements
Adult Medium: 60” (length) x 7.25” (width)

Adult Large: 75” (length) x 7.25” (width)

Adjusting the Pattern

  • Adjusting the length of your scarf couldn’t be easier – just chain any number and follow on from there! Every extra 5 chains that you add will add about 2” to the scarf length
  • To adjust the width, simply crochet more or less rows. To keep the same color block effect as I have used, follow this ratio: Color A : Color B : Color C => 3 : 2 : 1 (So for every 1 row of Color C (the lightest color), you would crochet 2 rows of B and 3 rows of A)
