This is a simple quick pattern for a ribbed pair of fingerless gloves. They are worked in the round using FPTR/BPTR mock crochet rib. They can be sized up or down by increasing or decreasing the size of hook.

I usually get 3 pairs of gloves out of a ball of yarn and sell them for £5 giving a reasonable profit.

They make fabulous stocking fillers too, most of my family and friends own a pair.
