Knitting Pattern for Chunky Floor Pillow

This knitting pattern is for an easy to knit ottoman style pillow that can be used to prop your feet up. The pillow can also be used to sit on if desired.

This knit pillow pattern is made with Bernat Mix Home Yarn. It is a yarn that changes colors and textures as you knit with it. Any bulky weight yarn that recommends a size US 11 or a 10.5 needle can be used to knit this pillow. You will also need some fiberfill or old pillow stuffing to stuff the pillow with.

The finished pillow is about 64 inches around, 10 1/2 inches from the floor to the top of the pillow and 21 inches in diameter.

To knit this pattern you will need to know how to knit in the round using circular knitting needles. Size US 11 needles are required for this pattern and 3 skeins of the Bernat Mix Home yarn - or 466 yards of another bulky weight yarn. The stitches used to knit this pattern are knit, increase in knitting and knit 2 stitches together to decrease.

There is no seam in this pillow since it is knit in the round. There is a minimal amount of sewing required to close up the bottom and top of the pillow which is done with a darning needle and is very easy to do - instructions given in the pattern with photos.

The pattern is written using English language and terms and it is 4 pages long including a few photos.
