Yarn: Choose a medium-thickness yarn suitable for 7mm needles. Wool or acrylic will work well for a warm and soft scarf. For example YarnArt MERINO BULKY, YarnArt Norway
Needles: 7 mm.
Tapestry Needle: For weaving in ends.

Yarn Consumption
You may need about 700 meters of yarn to knit such a scarf.

Finished Dimensions:

Length: 170 cm.
Width: 23 cm.

Gauge
It’s important to create a gauge swatch to ensure that the sizing is correct. The specific gauge will depend on your yarn and knitting style.

The gauge is:
10cm = 12 stitches
10cm = 15 rows
in stockinette stitch (knit on the right side, purl on the other side).
If your swatch doesn’t match, adjust your needle size or yarn to achieve the correct tension.
