This hat and neck warmer combo are really easy to make.
The hat is worked in the back loops through out to produce the ribbed appearance; whereas the neck warmer is worked in rounds after twisting the starting chains.

Included in the pattern is a chart for all sizes of beanie you may want to make.
This is in measurements, rather than number of stitches or rows you need, so you can use any weight of yarn you wish, as long as you are attaining the lengths you require, the hat will fit!
