This is a chunky scrunchie pattern made using DPNs or circular needles. It can be made with a variety of yarn weights and their respective needle sizes. The primary example in this pattern uses worsted weight tweed yarn and 4mm DPNs.

If you would like a more invisible seam, try using the mattress stitch when sewing the scrunchie up!
