This is written for bulky or super bulky, loosely spun yarns.

You can choose to knit in the round, or back and forth.
The braid is optional. So cute with or without! You’ll probably want to make several hats.

The stripes are an innovation by photographer Lesilee DuFresne of Killeen, Texas. You can use the photo as a guide, if you want to make yours striped. The instructions include the picture, but do not mention how to make the stripes.
