This raccoon is charmingly chunky, with short, fat features and a roly-poly look about him.

“advanced beginner”/intermediate levels
This pattern may be hard for “beginner”-beginners, as there are a lot of color changes in the face and some of the techniques used.

Low sew! The only things that are sewn on are the tail and the paws to the arms. The ears, arms, and feet are all crocheted in as a part of the body.

This pattern includes the raccoon instructions, plus the strawberry instructions.

If you are absolutely in love with the strawberry in the pattern, but don’t want the bunny, the strawberry pattern is available separately (for free!) in my store, here

For this pattern, it is essential that you use chunky yarn. The raccoon will not turn out at all the same if chunky yarn is not used.

Please leave a ‘project’ of your raccoon and a picture when you’ve finished! I would love to see it!

Enjoy!
