Supplies Needed

-Approximately 87 yards of any Super Bulky weight yarn (size 6) Note: I have used 1 skein of Lion Brand Hometown USA with only 81 yards for this hat, but I only had about 1.5 yards leftover. I recommend using Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick and Hometown USA. Just pay attention to yardage! Some Hometown USA has much less yardage, and you need at least 81 yards. I also recommend solid yarns for this hat. The pattern gets lost in variegated yarns.
-size N 10.0 mm hook
-Yarn needle
-scissors
-stitch marker (optional)
-elastic ponytail holder (for messy bun version)
-embellishments of your choice

Gauge
I chose not to create a gauge swatch for this hat because you will be measuring the diameter of your hat after completing round 3. If your hat does not measure the diameter measurement, adjust your hook size accordingly.

Finished Measurements
The finished product should fit a wide range of adult head sizes, from 20”-24” (51-61 cm) due to tremendous amount of stretch crocheting in the BLO gives you. The length of your finished hat should be approximately 9” (23 cm), including the brim.
