A basic knowledge of stitches is advised but instructions for special stitches are included.

You can easily substitute the yarn in the pattern for another. If changing ply simply adjust your hook size accordingly. This will however affect the finished size.

190g Chunky yarn in main colour
70g Chunky yarn in contrast colour
I used Stylecraft Special Chunky 100g / 144 Mtrs / 157 Yds
5mm Crochet Hook

Sk = Skip stitch
Inc2= Increase by making 3 sts in the same stitch
Rnd = Round
BLO = Back Loop Only
JSc = Joining Single crochet
Sc3Tog = Single crochet 3 Sts Together to decrease by 2 Sts.
Sc2Tog = Decrease 1 st as per Dc3Tog method
