This chunky shawl, tied either in front or off center toward the shoulder, is a flattering little cover. This one was designed for a bride and her bridal party, but it would look just as cute accenting a prom dress.

This one size will ‘fit’ most, although because it is simply a large rectangle, casting on a few more stitches will make it longer (shoulder to waist), and knitting a few more rows will make it larger across the bust.

c 2.75 skeins made the pictured shawl, so there is enough yarn to adjust the pattern slightly.
