I used a 30cm x 30cm cushion pad fro my cushion made of 4 squares in the Shetland Tweed and 4 squares in the Shetland Colours.

These squares are very simple to knit and perfect for beginners

Or great for experienced knitters for relaxing mindless (or maybe that’s mindful!?!) knitting that creates a colourful cushion that creates another relaxing environment!
I’m sitting on my Chusi cushion as I write this!!

The original yarn to make this cushion was made from Alpaca and Peruvian Highland Wool, so I decided to use a Quechua name for the cushion as Quechua is the native language of rural Peru.
I chose Chusi because it means woollen blanket.
This yarn was discontinued so I used another yarn to create a cushion with another yarn history. This yarn is made form Shetland Island wool spun in Yorkshire, UK.
