Ciao 2024! Starting the year off with a fun addition to the ciao pattern collection! This worsted weight beanie is the perfect quick knit for the new year! Knit one for yourself, a friend, or as a gauge swatch for your ciao Pullover. The ciao patterns were inspired by my love of Italy and my friend Sarah’s kitschy t-shirt. Say ciao to a new year with the ciao Beanie!

As a fun surprise the pattern now contains a chart to spell out “LOVE”. LOVE sample shown in Tod Worsted in color Pop Rocks.

CONSTRUCTION
Beanie is cast on provisionally. Brim of hat is worked first and then folded over so that the ciao letters are on the inside of the hat. Beanie is then continued to be worked in the round from the bottom up with decreases worked to shape the crown. Brim is folded up prior to wearing to expose the ciao letters.
